Tour price categories and upgrades

This article explains how to set different Tour price categories or upgrade options for additional services. You can now set all these pricing options via the Tour creation/edit form under Price Categories & Upgrades. When setting options, these will be displayed on your Tour overview page, and potential Clients(s) can select one of these options.

This article does not explain how to set different prices depending on group size, duration, time or season; all of which are explained in a separate article (click here).

 

Introduction

When adding options, these will be displayed on your Tour overview page. Client(s) may choose one of these options. If they do not make a selection, your default price will be used. You may or may not include your default price option. If you include it (e.g. for clarify), just set the “Additional price p.p.” to “0” (zero).

Currently, it is only possible to add one category and allow Client(s) to select one option. The additional price of the selected option will be added to the Tour price per person.

It is currently not yet possible to set the option for the entire party (e.g. one airport transfer price), or to set different categories. We will add more options in future. If you need them urgently, please let us know and we can prioritize development accordingly.

 

Example—different accommodation categories

Assume you offer different accommodation categories, as well as single room upgrades. Here’s how you can set this:

Example—different Tour variation options

Assume you offer an optional additional pre-climb acclimatization day, as well as the option to include crater camp in your climb. Here’s how you can set this:
